1806 Draped Bust Half Cent. C-2. Rarity-4. Small 6, Stems to Wreath. VF-25 (PCGS).,A mostly olive-brown example with a few swirls of lighter sandy-tan patina intermingled over both sides. Splashes of crimson color are associated with light surface scale, the most prominent of these features in the right obverse field. The in hand appearance for both sides is relatively smooth, however, and we note of a few minor obverse marks that are easily overlooked. Well centered in strike and overall boldly defined, this pleasing VF is sure to catch the eye of half cent variety specialists. Cohen-2 is the second rarest of the four known die marriages of the 1806 Draped Bust issue. Manley Die State 2.0.,From the Dr. James McCallum Collection. Acquired March 29, 1980.,
