1797 Draped Bust Cent. S-132. Rarity-5+. Reverse of 1797, Stemless Wreath. VF-35 BN (NGC).,Significant mid grade quality for this scarce and conditionally challenging die marriage. Predominantly gray-brown in tone, both sides also reveal intermingled deep rose highlights as the surfaces rotate under a light. Well centered in strike with ample boldness of detail to most devices, The date is a tad soft, diagnostic of the variety, although all four digits are discernible. Scattered marks in the center of the reverse, dull mark within Libertys hair curls before the date, shallow rim bruise at 9 oclock on the obverse. With the amount of detail that it retains this is one of the finer examples from the 1797 S-132 dies available to todays early copper specialists.,,
