1795 Liberty Cap Half Cent. C-3. Rarity-5+. Plain Edge, Punctuated Date. Good-4 (PCGS).,Pleasing golden-brown patina blankets both sides of this half cent. The surfaces exhibit considerable gloss for a well circulated early copper. The letters Y in LIBERTY and U in UNITED are faint, and the denomination HALF CENT is largely absent (mostly due to die state), but all other devices are suitably bold and clear. A couple of flan flaws at the upper obverse border are noted, are as scattered marks on both sides that are commensurate with the assigned grade. This is a pleasing Good 1795 half cent that will nicely represent a scarce and conditionally challenging die marriage. Manley Die State 2.0, the usual state.,From the Dr. James McCallum Collection. Acquired from Delaware Valley Coin and Stamp, August 14, 1980.,
