1788 Massachusetts Half Cent. Ryder 1-B, W-6010. Rarity-2. AU-55 BN (NGC).；Glossy deep copper surfaces are boldly to sharply defined over most design elements. The strike is nicely centered on the reverse, although the upper border is softly struck with original planchet texture in evidence. The obverse is trivially off center to 9 oclock with the border flush to the tops of the letters in COMMON. A few minor field marks are noted for accuracy, but the overall appearance is smooth and inviting.；From the Antony Bettencourt Collection.
