VF-35 (PCGS).;This otherwise boldly defined VF exhibits softness of detail only at the top of the effigys head and along the lower left reverse border, where the digits 17 in the date are faint, yet still partially discernible. Both sides are predominantly golden-brown, with subtle pale rose highlights. Scattered flan flaws are noted, a particularly prominent concentration in the center of the obverse associated with a swirl of darker color. The overall eye appeal is quite pleasing for a mid-grade Connecticut copper.;
