Nicely struck with good, even detail throughout. The obverse die state was late, with the crack that once extended from the jawline to the rim near 8:00, now bisecting the die completely and joining the rim cud at 2:00. One of 16 struck in “tin” according to the September 1860 sale catalog by Bangs, Merwin & Co.Ex William Spohn Baker Collection, to the Historical Society of Pennsylvania by bequest, November 15, 1897.
