Circa 1860 We All Have Our Hobbies medal by Frederick C. Key and George H. Lovett. Musante GW-237, Baker-635A. Brass. MS-64 (PCGS).27.8 mm. Light golden olive brass with light rose and blue patina mottled on the obverse, joined by a few tiny spots. Reflective in the fields and satiny on the devices. No handling marks worthy of mention. This is a very rare card struck from a popular reverse die by George H. Lovett. It was reported in the September 1860 Bangs, Merwin & Co. sale that just four were struck in brass. This die combination is rare in all metals.Ex William Spohn Baker Collection, to the Historical Society of Pennsylvania by bequest, November 15, 1897.
