Circa 1859 Edward Cogan store card. Musante GW-243, Baker-527B. White Metal. MS-62 (PCGS).31.1 mm. Brilliant surfaces with nice reflectivity in the fields and frosty, lustrous devices. A bit handled with mild abrasions and hairlines disrupting the mirrors in the most vulnerable field areas of the obverse, while the reverse is slightly more pristine. An overall pleasing example of a scarce and popular card from this early American coin dealer.Ex William Spohn Baker Collection, to the Historical Society of Pennsylvania by bequest, November 15, 1897.
