The Statue of Liberty dominates the background, light from her torch illuminating a busy harbor scene. Signed E. Fuchs at bottom. Rev: Allegorical figures representing Art and Education leaning on a monument inscribed THE / HISPANIC / SOCIETY / OF / AMERICA while a radiant sun rises in the east. Below the monument is a cartouche for inscription of the recipients name, which is blank on this example. Signed E. F. / 1906 at right. Edge marked with two hallmarks and ARGENT.
