1835 Matron Head Cent. N-6. Rarity-1. Small 8 and Stars. MS-63 BN (PCGS). CAC. An impressive and desirable Choice Mint State large cent in a first generation PCGS holder. Full satiny cartwheel luster across both sides and there are traces of mint red on the obverse. Light olive-brown with a few splashes of darker color. A single fine scratch is noted within the wreath through the E in ONE and there are no other imperfections to mention. Later die state with some fading of the peripheral detail and rim cuds seen at the right reverse border. Doubling is seen on Libertys profile and some of the stars due to the obverse die being loose in the press and shifting slightly upon strike.
