Originally signed in Kirtland by Joseph Smith Jr. and Sidney Rigdon. There were 135 notes re-issued in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1849 including the example seen here. N.K. Whitney, Heber C. Kimball and Brigham Young countersigned the note at the time of re-issue. Also initialed "TB" by Thomas Bullock below the serial number. This bright and moderately circulated example is among the finest we have seen of the variety. Youngs signature is exceptionally bold. This is a fantastic piece of Mormon financial history signed by several of the Churchs most prominent members.
