Bold tan-gold patina with slightly speckled overtones of pretty rose-apricot. Fully struck and expertly preserved.The portrait on the obverse is of George Pratt Schultz, secretary of the Treasury at the time of the 1973 Commission and, later, secretary of state under President Reagan (1982 to 1989). We have only offered two different examples of the rare JK AC-117 issue since 2004. The present specimen has a provenance to our (Stacks) November 2008 sale of the Ernest E. Keusch Collection.
