1794 Liberty Cap Cent. S-18B. Rarity-4. Head of 1793. Edge of 1794. AG-3 (PCGS). Warmly patinated olive-brown surfaces exhibit intermingled golden-tan color in and around the central obverse. That side of the coin retains a well outlined portrait and discernible date, while the reverse is boldest at the lower and right portions of the wreath, other areas with faint to absent detail. A few widely scattered planchet pits are noted, but there are no sizeable marks and the general appearance is quite smooth for the assigned grade. Scarce Head of 1793 Guide Book variety of the 1794-dated large cent issue!
