1794 Liberty Cap Cent. S-43. Rarity-2. Head of 1794. Very Fine. Glossy deep chestnut-brown with typical surfaces. A couple of tiny scratches and a small rim bump are noted on the obverse, but the visual appeal is still decent for the grade and this would make for a nice, moderately circulated type coin. State II of the dies, which later develop more extensive cracks. From our Chicago ANA Auction of August 2011, lot 6236, at which time it was certified VF-30 BN by NGC. Collector envelope with attribution notation included.
