1921自由行走半美元 PCGS MS 64
1921 Walking Liberty Half Dollar. MS-64 (PCGS). A confidently struck near-Gem that whose visual display is improved by an essentially brilliant finish over the satiny luster. Only the slightest hint of pale golden color can be seen on each side. Although this date is normally found sharp, this coin in particular is even sharper than most, with boldness on Libertys head and hand. One of the key dates in the series.
Before the second World War, 1921-dated half dollars were in strong demand as each mints limited mintage fell during the short interlude between the two major 20th century wars; production was not needed, so mintage declined. Of course, 1921 is often regarded as a major irritant for date collectors since finding just the right coin requires persistence more than money, unlike more common Walking Liberty half dollar dates. This bright specimen should find many collectors who appreciate the strike, strong luster and extra-choice surfaces. Scarce so well preserved, and difficult to obtain finer than the present MS-64.
