1917-D Walking Liberty Half Dollar. Reverse. MS-64 (PCGS). A smartly impressed, sharply to fully defined example with soft mint luster throughout. A dusting of original toning in olive-gold and bronze hues is backlit by flashy and pearlescent luster. Despite having a much higher mintage (1,940,000 vs. 765,400 coins), the 1917-D Reverse Mintmark is scarcer in Mint State than its identically dated Obverse Mintmark counterpart. This handsome near-Gem is sure to catch the eye of astute Walking Liberty half dollar enthusiasts.
