1918-D Walking Liberty Half Dollar. MS-63 (PCGS). Sharply to fully struck over virtually all design elements, this desirable coin also displays soft silver gray patina to both sides. The appearance is very nice for the assigned grade. The 1918-D is among the more challenging early date Walking Liberty half dollars, and is more difficult to locate in Mint State than such other issues as the 1917-D Obverse Mintmark, 1917-S Reverse Mintmark, 1918-S and 1927-S. Highly regarded among specialists as both a strike and condition rarity, this sharp MS-63 represents excellent value for the astute bidder.
