This is a highly lustrous example whose otherwise brilliant, satin textured surfaces reveal pale golden highlights here and there around the peripheries. Striking detail is sharp overall with emerging to bold definition at Libertys head and left hand. Smooth in hand and virtually pristine. A true condition rarity, the otherwise readily obtainable 1936-S is seldom offered at the Superb Gem grade level, as here.
