An extremely rare note on this bank which only reported $1,049 outstanding in November of 1860. Haxby had no description available for this denomination and it is unlisted in Wolkas Indiana reference. The officers are President Asa Stevens and Cashier J.D. Nutter. We can track no offerings of this denomination prior to this appearance. Evenly circulated and bright for the grade with well penned manuscript details. A small internal tear at center is of no consequence in light of the rarity.
