CC-74. Continental Currency. April 11, 1778. $7. PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.No. 105150. Signed by E. Ryves and W. Hardy. Printed by Hall and Sellers, 1778. The notes printed under the Resolution of April 11, 1778 are among the rarest of the Continentals as the entire issue was recalled the following year due to extensive British counterfeiting. Four wide and well-balanced borders with fresh off-white paper. The inking on the emblem of the stormy sea (SERENABIT) is a bit light, but the overall eye appeal of the note is quite good. The nature print of grape and sage leaves on the back is also very sharp and well-detailed. This is the only uncirculated $7 Yorktown graded by PMG, with a single AU-58 as the runner-up. PMG Pop 1/None Finer. From the Mid-Continent Collection.
