As inflation ravaged the value of the Continental Currency, ever higher denominations were authorized and printed. This $70 denomination is found only on the 11<sup>th</sup> and last issue, and features an emblem depicting a solitary tree with a diamond-shaped red overlay. In keeping with its gem grade, everything from margins to centering, from paper to print quality and color, and from signatures to overall eye appeal, leave little to be desired.
