Some wear and chipping to the slightly oversized covers, but internally sound and clean. A tape stain at the lower spine is also noticed and a sticker is inside the back cover. A copy of Mehl’s original pre-printed April 1941 letter that accompanied the catalogs is laid in, though it too has rough edges from being larger than the protective dimensions of the catalog. Finally, a copy of Mehl’s <em>A Prospectus of the Celebrated William Forrester Dunham Numismatic Collection</em> is also laid in, the latter with minor tape damage to the cover. A fairly common sale catalog featuring great rarities, but not as commonly seen with the letter and prospectus included.From the D. Brent Pogue Library.
