Circa 1800 Repub. Ameri. medal. Musante GW-62, Baker-69A. White Metal. MS-62 (PCGS).32.9 mm. 205.5 grains. Dusky light pewter gray on the obverse with some light hairlines in the fields and a few scattered marks. The reverse is much nicer, with strong reflectivity and sharp, satiny devices. A few tiny pesting spots are noted here and there, mostly on the rims. These are very minor and the piece is much nicer than often seen for the type. This piece is plated in MusanteEx William Spohn Baker Collection, to the Historical Society of Pennsylvania by bequest, November 15, 1897.
