T-28. Confederate Currency. 1861 $10. PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ.No. 109634. Plate A11. PF-10. Printed by J.T. Paterson of Columbia, SC. The top margin strays a bit heading to the right but otherwise a well margined piece. PMG has graded a quartet of notes a single point higher than this one. Although the landscape of the Confederate Currency market is changing rapidly, it goes to show that there are still few nice Choice CU examples of this condition-challenged type. Last year we sold a PCGS Choice New 63 for over $5,000. This certainly is not worth that much anymore but it still should require a four-figure bid to bring it home.
