Serial Number 1 Through 6.This uncut Type-2 $20 sheet from one of the most popular titles in all of National Currency collecting features serial numbers 1 through 6. The Blue Ball National Bank was chartered in October 1906 and issued Third Charter Red Seals, Date Backs and Plain Backs as well as Type 1 and 2 Series of 1929 notes. The bank only issued notes in the $10 and $20 denominations with a total emission of $881,550. pBlue Ball is located in Lancaster County and was named for the Blue Ball Hotel which was built in what was then called Earl Town in the mid-18th century. Owner John Wallace hung a blue ball from a post in front of the hotel which he called the "Sign of the Blue Ball." Locals soon called the town Blue Ball and the name was officially changed to that in 1833.pThis sheet is boldly printed on bright paper which earned PCGS Currencys PPQ designation.
