拍品描述： Civil War Era Poll Tax and Internal Revenue Documents, Various Types. Lot of Six (6) Items. Average Fine.The Civil War brought about all sorts of new funding ideas. The income tax was created ("Annual Tax" as called initially). There was no draft in California and it was a rich state. California though had poll-tax forms of different styles to support payments made to the enlistments. Included are two different styles, one from 1862 and one from 1864. Also four IRS forms for taxes paid in the 1860s. Excellent condition assortment.
