United States of America World Wars Related Certificates. Lot of Five (5) Items. Very Fine.This is an interesting and varied group with colorful pieces. The first four are WWI era. "Certificate of Service in the War of 1917," a multi-color large piece with soldier and sailor flanking shield. Rare with an Ohio imprint; American Defense Society certificate, multi-color; Third Liberty Loan subscription, blue, 1918; U.S. Shipyards Volunteers enrollment. Green frame, gold seal; A WWII piece, 15% War Bond Honor Club. Rare vignetted type. Mostly from older Smythe sales and the only ones we have seen. Splits on some, generally a handsome group.
