拍品描述： United States of America. High Denomination Savings Bonds Stamped “Spoiled.” Lot of Two (2) Bonds. Very Fine.This is a fascinating and rare pair which was last sold in 2001. Includes a Series E $1,000 bond and $5,000 Series F bond. The second was improperly filled in and voided with the "Spoiled" ink stamping on the face. The first looks fine and perhaps was replaced when the original was proved "damaged." High denominations from this period are rarely seen in any form. Intriguing duo.From the John E.
