Much of the original silvering remains close to the center, while the remaining surface is light golden olive and shows little handling otherwise. The yellow paper card is bright and rather clean with no damage. Bowers estimates four to seven known. This one is the Bowers plate.<p>William O. Headley and Alfred G. Headley both resided in New Jersey, according to city directories. Though the primary location for conducting business seems to have been in New York, the factory was in Newark, N.J. so this card should have crossover interest for collectors of each state.,Ex Q.
