Boise, Idaho. $10 1882 Brown Back. Fr. 484. The First NB. Charter #1668. PMG Fine 12.;A rare first title $10 Brown Back from this early Boise charter. The First National Bank of Boise City was organized in March of 1867 and issued First and Second Charter Territorials as well as Second Charter notes after Idaho achieved statehood. The bank later re-titled itself as the First National Bank of Boise and continued to issue notes through the end of the National Currency era in 1935. This is one of just two known first title notes issued after the Idahos statehood. While this note comes well circulated, all of the design elements remain clear and detailed. The grading service mentions an internal tear, seen on the right side of the note, on the back of their label.
