PMG Very Fine 25.；This important California discovery pushes the known total on this San Francisco charter to just four notes, all 1902 Red Seals. This PMG Very Fine 25 graded example is also now the finest available of that quartet, per the Track and Price census information. Terrific penned signatures remain along with bold red overprints. Some light surface soiling and a tear at lower left are seen with the later being mentioned by PMG in the comments section of the holder. The last to sell publicly was a PCGS Fine 12 graded $10 note which brought $4,993 in a January 2014 sale. We would expect this attractive Very Fine note to surpass that realization tonight.
