Cucamonga, California. $20 1902 Plain Back. Fr. 650. The First NB. Charter #7152. Very Fine.;This newly discovered Cucamonga, California $20 Plain Back is just the seventh note reported to this San Bernardino county bank. The bank opened in 1904 and closed its doors 30 years later in 1934. It issued a total of $454,310 in 1902 Series Red Seals, Blue seals, and 1929 Type 1 and 2s only. This note is most certainly the 2nd finest known for the bank, but hands down has the best signatures of them all. The note is seen with massive margins all around, good paper originality and stellar signatures of the cashier and president. Our estimate could very well prove conservative as lesser examples have sold for in excess of five figures and more.
