The real challenge is finding anything above the higher end of the Very Fine grade. Extremely Fine pieces and beyond are simply rare and when offered create a frenzy among bidders. This PMG About Uncirculated 53 note is the finest this cataloger has handled and shows with important generous margins and great registration of the face to back impressions. We detect just a pair of light vertical folds for circulation with PMG mentioning "Pinholes," in the comments section of the holder. The pinholes however must be incredibly minor as we cannot determine their location even with strong back lighting. The last of this quality that sold was a PCGS Graded note at the About New 53 level and brought $7,637 in an April 2015 sale. We certainly would not be surprised to see a similar realization tonight.
