The Jamestown National Bank was chartered in April of 1913 and issued only $273,850 during its years of operation. When it was liquidated in November of 1930 just a scant $2,100 in notes remained outstanding. The appearance of this new to the census Ten brings the total number of known notes to just three for this large-size only bank. An About Uncirculated serial number 1 $Five Dollar Date Back is found in the census along with a $20 Plain Back described as a low-end Fine. The printed inks and stamped bank officers signatures remain boldly inked on the present example.
