Tantalizingly close to being Uncirculated. A light vertical fold resultant of either a brief stint in circulation or handling at the hands of various bank tellers speaks to the uncomplicated life that befell this note once it left the walls of the Bureau of Engraving & Printing. Strong eye appeal is retained and exemplified by the sharpness of individual design elements. The portrait of Chief Running Antelope is particularly evocative and appears lifelike in composition while the denim-blue Treasury overprint offers a nice contrast bound to capture the attention of even the most inobservant of collectors thanks to the status of this note where it stands above many of its peers found at the lowest ends of the condition spectrum.
