Even in the face of fault; this note still represents a fine example of an iconic design that is decidedly better than many of its peers when examined in a technical context. Featuring the solemn yet forceful portrait of Running Antelope who is seen in the company of the engraved signatures of Vernon and Treat. This note can trace its issue to between 1906 and 1909 and accounts for a signature combination seen somewhat sparingly compared to later ones like Elliot - White and Speelman - White from the early 1920s. A single comment for a "Foreign Substance" has been applied by the likes of PMG and refers to evidence of what appears to be a previous mounting along the top margin. Even when considered, this is still an attractive note and one sure to please whomever places the winning bid. PMG comments "Foreign Substance."
