A well-circulated example of arguably one of the most iconic and recognizable designs ever put to print by the Bureau of Engraving & Printing and one that superbly demonstrates the skills and capabilities of the engravers who envisioned and created this composition. This well-circulated specimen has seen its share of circulation, but yet the iconic vignette entitled Electricity Presenting Light to the World remains clear and free from distraction unlike the mass of unsightly culls and impaired examples that regularly find their way to numismatic circles. The balance of the design is likewise attractive and comes framed by intact margins and vivid colors that serve to illustrate and emphasize individual elements of the design from Jupiters lightning bolt to the folds endemic to Electricitys gown. Truly an excellent example of this fabled and iconic design sure to please the collector who has long sought an example for their own collection.
