COLOMBIA. 20 Pesos, 1868-MEDELLIN. Medellin Mint. NGC AU-55. KM-142.2; Fr-101; Restrepo-337.2. Narrow Forehead variety. Somewhat crudely produced as is typical, this piece shows little discernable wear with some scattered marks that blend with the distinctively textured surfaces, which combined allows for tremendous eye-appeal for the grade. A minor, small (perhaps 15 percent) axis rotation is noted between the dies. Altogether, a wholesome example of this beautifully designed Liberty Head type.
