1788 Massachusetts Cent. Ryder 7-M, W-6250. Rarity-4. Period After MASSACHUSETTS. EF-40 BN (PCGS). 147.0 grains. A glossy and very attractive example with insignificant microgranularity visible under a glass. Natural striations in the planchet are noted at the right obverse border, but the surfaces remain free from notable post-mint abrasions. Steely-brown and crimson patina dominates the surfaces, complementing the bold, well centered strike.
