1928-D水牛镍币 PCGS MS 66+
1928-D Buffalo Nickel. MS-66+ (PCGS). CAC. Delightful satin to softly frosted surfaces are lightly toned in iridescent gold. There is bold to sharp detail throughout the design and very nice surfaces for the assigned grade. This is an impressive strike and condition rarity from a mintage of 6,436,000 pieces.
While the 1928-D nickel is the most available Mint State Buffalo nickel of the 1913 to 1930 era (apart from the very common 1913 Type I), this Denver Mint issue becomes rare at or above the MS-66 level. A find for the advanced Buffalo nickel enthusiast competing for a top ranking on the PCGS Set Registry.
