Engraved Cashier and Presidents signatures with penned for President signature. PMG notes Stains, although they really are of little consequence when one considers the rarity and condition of this piece. The Farmers Bank was in operation for the better part of the 19th century when it received its charter in 1864, and became the Farmers National Bank of Lancaster, charter #597. Another rare issued note from this popular bank and location in heavily collected Lancaster County. Very Fine is a superb grade for any Obsolete from this bank with this being one of the couple nicest we have sold.
