The highest engraved denomination post note from the issue, but larger size and different vignette structure. The high denomination has made it popular with collectors for generations. The bank building at the top center, but seated Commerce at left and William Penn at right. This example is payable at the branch in New York, but twelve months after date, with the usual back stampings on the blank back. A sharp example with light handling. The back stamps show through slightly as usual, but not unattractively. These are always popular and recent sale results prove that. In March we sold slightly lesser examples for $1,560 and $2,040. This is premium quality for the technical grade.
