Very Fine, Cleaned.A generally pewter gray example with warmer dove gray outlines to many of the design elements. Direct lighting calls forth curious blue and pink undertones, wispy hairlines further pointing to a light cleaning. The surfaces still reveal evidence of environmental damage, to visual effects of which the aforementioned mishandling was undoubtedly intended to lessen. Moderately worn overall, yet with all deign elements discernible. This is our first offering for this type in white metal since 1990; our (Bowers and Merenas) Dice and Hicks collections sale included only a copper impression (HT-182) of the Crocker Bros. & Co. token.From the Ralph A.
