COLOMBIA. República de Colombia. 5 Pesos Oro. July 20, 1915. P-323. PMG Extremely Fine 40 EPQ.An exceptional issued example of the third denomination in this series. There were 1,000,000 notes printed in July 1915. Orange multi-color tint and orange back. Notes of this type were overprinted later on the backs creating the undated 1931 "Plata" P-381 type. Much superior to the note in the Ward Collection that sold in the June 2017 Lyn Knight auction for over $1,500. This note has all the eye appeal of a Choice Uncirculated piece at first glance. It will likely not require an upgrade. Conservatively estimated compared to its superior state of preservation.
