This is the nicest example of this rare Tennessee railroad note that we have seen to date. The paper is bright and just lightly circulated. The printed design elements are darkly inked and the signatures of officers George W. Adams and Easton Morris are neatly penned. This line was a predecessor to the Memphis & Charleston Railroad. The Garland reference assigns an R-14 rarity rating to this type indicating 2 to 4 known.
