1799 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. BB-163, B-10. Rarity-2. EF-40 (NGC).;Olive-gray patina dominates the obverse appearance, although the reverse is predominantly pewter gray in tone with only speckled highlights of the former. Well centered in strike, if a bit lightly impressed over the high points, the detail is still suitably bold for the assigned grade. A small flan flaw at 1 oclock relative to the obverse border is also evident on the reverse. Vying with BB-166 as one of the two most plentiful die marriages of the 1799 silver dollar, BB-163 enjoys particular demand among collectors seeking a single coin to represent the Draped Bust, Heraldic Eagle type.;
