1799 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. BB-160, B-12. Rarity-3. EF-40 (PCGS).;A handsome and wholly original example with charcoal-russet outlines to boldly defined devices. The balance of the surfaces are warmly toned in pewter gray, the general appearance remarkably smooth for an early silver dollar that saw actual, however light commercial use. BB-160 is one of the more readily obtainable die marriages of the 1799 issue, which fact further enhances the desirability of this coin for circulated type purposes.;
