Sleigh, whos life according to Charlton "was devoted to fraud and swindling". This proprietary proof was probably printed at a later date but would make for a welcome addition to any advanced Canadian collection. There are just three issued notes of this issuer known (including a single piece of this denomination) but all are in the National Currency Collection. This is also the sole proof of the $2 presently in the PMG population report. From the Great North Collection.
