An important 1911 5 Dollar Bank of British North America treasure in Very Fine condition. A sought after King George V fiver with the Mackenzie signature at right. The Bank of British North America was organized in England in 1836 and had a fairly significant issue of bank notes in Canada. None of the notes, however, are particularly common, including the present example. About two dozen examples are known at present, but demand is always high, and this is a popular type in any grade.
