Chevt为天赏堂制作。正面为七国国旗被横幅"PAX LABOR"绑起，代表天津都统衙门七个成员国：德国、美国、法国、英国、意大利、日本以及俄罗斯。反面两行篆书铭文，橡树枝与月桂环绕。极为迷人，流光溢彩，光芒璀璨。旗帜上的珐琅色彩仍鲜亮。存世品相最佳之一，罕见而迷人的版别。本拍品为铜制，但当时亦铸有银制及金制同款。有理由相信，金章用以赠予七国政要，而铜章则极有可能仅用以赠予本地官员、低级官员或参与占领天津的成员。 L&M-994A; cf. Obverse: Crossed banners of the seven governments that composed the member provisional military government at Tientsin ca. 1900-02: the German Empire, the United States of America, France, the United Kingdom, the Italian Kingdom, the Japanese Empire, and the Russian Empire; all tied together with banner reading PAX LABOR ( peace & work ); Reverse: Legend in two lines in seal script; all within oak and laurel wreath. Extremely attractive and stunning, this lustrous example presents a near-intoxicating level of brilliance, with the enameling of the flags showing vibrant color that assuredly stands out. Undoubtedly one of the finest examples in bronze of this RARE and enchanting type. Accompanied by it original box of issuance, which further attests to the unusual nature of this example. While this type was struck in bronze, silver, and gold, it is believed that the gold versions were only presented to the foreign dignitaries of the provisional government, meaning this bronze example would have been presented to either a local or low-ranking official, or possibly someone who was present during the siege.
